Congratulations
Mayland Gun Club

Essex, England!

12th Anniversary of e-Shoot

No doubt about the winner this year - with a convincing 724 points on the board, the winner from 2009 has romped home. With five teams scoring over 700 points the results are very good, with Bisley a very commendable second on 716.

Last year's winner, Valley Gun Club, South Africa, had a bad run this year - we all know how easily that can happen. However they do hold the impressive record of the most wins in e-Shoot to date, taking the trophy in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2011.

Congratulations to Dave Toomer of Bisley Gun Club, Surrey, England for reinforcing his membership of the "The 150 Club", first achieved in 2001 and repeated in 2004 and 2005 when Dave was a member of Fareham CTC in Hampshire. One very interesting point is the new secretary of Bisley Gun Club, Jane Rowland, entered the '150 Club' in 2004 shooting alongside Dave Toomer - the first woman to shoot a possible in e-Shoot and still the only one! Well done Jane!

Apologies from Bill Malcolm, Oxford Sportsmens Club, Canada, unable to shoot the event this year, and Port Denison Queensland who lacked team members. Orion Gun Club of Essex UK seem to have fallen off the planet and we have been unable to contact them for scores for 2012. This is a shame as they have been entrants since this all began in 2001. Singleton New South Wales shot the event in extremely windy conditions which is reflected in their scores. Thank you to the clubs who completed e-Shoot - we are grateful for your support of our endeavours to promote our sport.

E-Shoot is not about winning, it is about taking part and promoting our sport and responsible gun ownership - you are all champions and we thank you for being part of e-Shoot 2012. Nomination for 2013 is automatic for those who completed the event this year and open for the new entrants we hope will join us. Please encourage your neighbouring clubs to enter - the more the merrier. The entry form is here
